Brandi passante became an overnight celebrity after her appearance on the reality show 'StorageWars' on A&E.' It also featured Jarrod Schulz, who was Passante's partner who dated her for a long time and is now her husband. The show's theme is that the items stored in storage lockers where rent hasn't been paid in three months is put on auction. Brandi and Jarrod from the Now and Then thrift store, located in Orange California participated on the show in order to purchase storage units. It was a surprise for them to be able to become famous. They were very diplomatic in their bids during the whole show, and eventually was one of the most prominent stars. Following they appeared on the television reality show, the couple were successful in increasing the size of their shop. Their 'Storage War' appearance led to a spinoff series named 'Brandi & Jerrod Married to the Job with a focus on the couple.
