The most glamorous of careers often hide the most piteous stories underneath. Lolo Jones, who took home the USA and the World championships in hurdle events in 2013, reached this position through a great deal of hard work and a lot of patience. Jones grew up with a poor and difficult life being the daughter of a single mother who had five other children.
