Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress best known for playing Bo on The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, who was an actor and director. He was also a playwright, educator, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending practice sessions for plays. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials as just a child. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto to pursue her acting career in November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 before getting married in the civil ceremony on took place in December. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in a Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
